I hope you had a great start of the week. I sincerely apologize for not posting on Monday. I was a little tired from the weekend hustle and bustle and internet was crappy *rollseyes* but I’m glad to be back…whoop! Today, I will be sharing a ‘get the look’ post on one of Blake Lively’s Party Glam makeup looks. Blake Lively is one of my favorite American actresses. Our love started when I first saw her in Gossip Girls, where she played the role of Serena Van Der Woodsen. The feeling hasn’t changed since then. I totally love how she looks on the red carpet all the time. She’s known to wear stylish red carpet dresses with gorgeous makeup and awesome hair…omg! Blake’s been making the headlines recently featuring her stunning dresses and party glam makeup looks and I thought to share a quick post on how to recreate one of those makeup looks. Here we go!
“This makeup on Blake Lively screams screen siren and it’s all down to the feline lashes and red hot lipstick.” – Cosmopolitan UK. This party glam look can be rocked for a night out or even a daring bride can wear it because the eyes are soft and really compliment the bold hot red lips.
Get The Look
Eyes– Use a soft shimmery eyeshadow for the inner corner of the eyes on the lid like MAC Naked Lunch. Cover the entire lids with MAC Soft Brown and take it up to the crease. Her eyebrows look very natural with little or no pencil filled in. You can use Maybelline Clear Mascara to set the brows. Line the tear line with NYX Jumbo Pencil In Milk.
Skin – It looks like she had little or no foundation on. To achieve this flawless and natural look, use blackUp Fluid Foundation with a little of NYX Liquid Illuminator and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish for a nice glowing finish.
Lashes– Use Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for top and bottom lashes and Red Cherry lashes in #43 for the top lashes. They add the perfect touch to the eyes.
Lips-Try blackUp Lipstick in M15. It’s definitely the perfect tomato red lipstick for the party glam look!
