Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation was recently reformulated to be their thinnest and most breathable formula yet. So, I was able to get one to try out and will be sharing my thoughts about it in this post. According to Lancôme, “Our newly reformulated Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation continues to deliver exceptional buildable full coverage with a natural-matte finish. Still waterproof and sweat and humidity-resistant, Teint Idole Ultra Wear is your ultimate longwearing foundation, no matter where your day or night takes you.”
Packaging : The Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation comes in a rectangular bottle with a pump applicator.
Formula : It has a lightweight liquid formula that is infused with skin-loving ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Moringa Seed Extracts and Prebiotics.
Application : Firstly, pump out the quantity needed. Then, apply using either your fingers (for the lightest application and a barely-there look), a damp sponge (for medium-to-full coverage with a dewy finish) or foundation brush (for maximum coverage and a flawless result).

Overall, the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation gives a silky and luxurious feel. It is super lightweight, applies effortlessly and gives a flawless undetectable finish. Although, I never got to try the previous version, this new one contains Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E which give some smoothing benefits to the skin. In addition, it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and what’s more, available in up to 50 shades across fair, light, medium, medium-to-deep, and deep intensities…go Lancôme!

I wear the shade 515W which is my perfect shade. However, on some days, because of the weather, I just add a tiny bit of a lighter foundation to get it right. This is a luxury brand, hence, $57 is a fair price to pay for it, in my opinion. Finally, it can be purchased directly on their website, Sephora.com or any other beauty store near you.
