Well, I’m doing fine and since the weather is quite cozy and fantastic for some coffee/tea time and a great read, I thought to share a product review with you today. So, I got some new products from Maybelline a few weeks ago and I’ve been loving all of them save for one or two. One of the products that I really like is the Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in Molten Gold…I know, it’s a mouthful 😀 . Since it arrived, it’s been my go-to highlighter cos it’s pretty pretty good. According to Maybelline, Facestudio® Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter delivers the look of a melted metallic highlight in an easy to apply highlighting powder. Now, here’s my review.
How I Use : I apply with a synthetic brush or my fingertips.
- The Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter is highly pigmented.
- Affordable.
- Easy to blend.
- Little or no fall out.
- Gives a warm metallic sheen.
- Vibrant.
- Versatile.
Cons :
- Doesn’t come with a mirror and applicator brush.
Overall, I really like the metallic effect this highlighter gives. It feels like butter when I touch it and is quite shiny. Please note that you need to go light handed with this product as it’s very pigmented…one swipe is good enough. I would advise you start with small amounts and build up on it till you get your desired result. This highlighter literally pops and it adds just the right zing to my look. It’s quite portable and I’ve been reaching out to it a lot lately because of it’s versatility ( can be used as an highlighter on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow, as an eye shadow even as a body shimmer). If you’re looking to invest in a very good and affordable highlighter, I would definitely recommend the Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in Molten Gold .
