I officially welcome you to my very first detailed nail post. I shared a previous one last year here. However, I got these Avon Gel Finish Nail Polishes about three (3) weeks back from a friend of mine who is currently an Avon distributor in Nigeria. She sent these gorgeous polishes to me to tryout. I had never owned or used gel polishes before she sent them,so I was really excited to try the Avon Gel Finish Nail Polishes out. According to Avon – Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel is a new range of varnish that contains 24 colors that provides high impact nail color with a gel like finish without a UV lamp.Base coat, protection, shine, color and top coat, all in one nail polish.Strengthens nails by up to 42% and comes off with normal nail vanish remover. I decided to share a review and let you know what I think about them.

Packaging: Each of them came in cute black packs. This is a different and fun experience for me as all other polishes that I own just came in bottles without a pack. The pack has directions on the ingredients of the polish and how to use the polish.
Product Review: Avon Gel Finish Nail Polishes
Application: I applied two coats (letting the first coat dry before applying a second). Because they claim that it does not need a top coat, I skipped it 🙂 .
Formula: The formula is really nice. It’s very opaque and applies smoothly and evenly.

Pros:
The colors were bright.
The finish was super shiny.
Application was very easy and smooth.
No need to use base or top coat.

Cons:
After a week, I noticed slightly noticeable wear and the finish dulled out.
Overall, I really like these Avon Gel Finish Polishes and I shall be buying more colors real soon. I hardly wear my nail colors for more than a week anyway, so I’m fine with them.
