So,I got myself an early birthday pressie…yay! I like to splurge on myself every now and then because I deserve it, right?..hahaha. Anyhow,I got this perfume a couple of weeks ago after I went through my friend’s website over and over again ,then finally settled for Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel.
By the way, thanks to everyone that left me a comment on instagram when I asked for perfume ideas…I hope to give them all a try ( in my mind…lol). I have a bit of knowledge about choosing perfumes that last long that’s why I settled for the eau de parfum version of this perfume.What’s a perfume that fades off after 4-6hours…*rollseyes*. Okay,I wasn’t quite sure of how the Coco Mademoiselle smelt because I couldn’t swatch online…duh…but I was certain that after a while,I would get used to the smell and the world would be a better place 🙂 .
I am not really good at describing perfumes or scents but here goes:
Packaging : It comes in a classic signature bottle which is perfect for the dressing table or for traveling.I particularly love how simple the bottle looks and the Rose gold colour of the perfume.
Application: Spray lightly morning and evening on pulse points at the throat and wrist,on the neck and underarms.
Formula : Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women. Notes: bergamot, orange, jasmine, rose, patchouli, vetiver, white musks, vanilla.
Brief History : Coco Mademoiselle (which means Miss Young Lady) was launched in 2001. The nose behind the fragrance is Jacques Polge. This perfume is the winner of award FiFi Award Best National Advertising Campaign / TV 2008. Top notes are orange, mandarin orange, orange blossom and bergamot; middle notes are mimose, jasmine, turkish rose and ylang-ylang; base notes are tonka bean, patchouli, opoponax, vanilla, vetiver and white musk.
Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel is an elegant, luxurious, classic-style, feminine and sophisticated spray. It is perfect for any season and age. It lasts all day(more than 36hours in fact) . It also has a sexy and fresh oriental fragrance. It makes me feel really nice and ready to conquer the world! 😀 .
The only oomph about this fragrance is that it has a strong musky smell and can be overpowering at first whiff . However, it warms up nicely into the skin and smells sweet after a while.
I got this 100ml bottle of Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel off Signature Scents. Do you own or wear this fragrance? What are your thoughts?
