Today, I’m reviewing the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub Almond and Honey which is a fantastic body scrub that I recently started using. Oh yeah! I did a major haul about 2 months back and I have so many product reviews lined up 😀 . Okay, I wanted to give my body a treat and got the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub and boy! this ‘jar of goodness’ is everything!!! Certified Organic Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, and more amazing ingredients nourish your new skin for smooth skin that lasts. Now, let’s just get on with my review:
Packaging: The Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub comes in a transparent ,wide-open plastic jar with a yellow cap.The jar looks very nice but it is quite heavy, so it’s not very easy to carry around especially when I have to travel.
Formula : It is a coarse mixture which contains an important ingredient; the evening primrose oil which serves as supplement especially for women and it rejuvenates the skin. It also contains Shea butter which helps to protect the skin from sunburn and moisturizes the skin, Avocado oil which reduces sun damage and hydrates the skin, Almond oil which improves skin complexion and retains natural sheen and Honey which helps the skin to glow amongst other great ingredients.
How I Use : I scoop out the quantity that I need with my fingers and place into a smaller jar. I rub and scrub gently on my body, then rinse off with water.
Pros:
- The Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub smells divine and pleasant.
- The scent is intoxicating…in a good way 😀 .
- It leaves my skin feeling supple and polished.
- It is inexpensive.
- Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub is of great quality.
- It doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy.
Cons:
- It is a wide open jar which makes it too easy to lose content.
- It dilutes easily when it gets in contact with water.
- It is quite heavy, so it’s not very easy to carry around especially when I have to travel.
Overall, I’m so in love with this scrub. To think that I didn’t read any review on it before I bought it…yay for Tree hut! Okay, I had it for sale but it’s all gone out of stock now. However, I shall be restocking by the end of the month.. Let me know if you’re interested.
