Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder – Review & Swatch

The Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder was offered to me as a sample whilst shopping on Sephora and I didn’t think twice before adding it to cart. I love Danessa Myricks, her fabulous makeup techniques & looks, and of course, a chance to try out any brand before investing in the full size, is always a good idea 😀 . So, I received the cute product and it was love at first sight…cos the packaging! (*insert lovestruck emoji*). According to Danessa Myricks Beauty, this balm powder is a texture reducing, coverage boosting, blurring balm, that balances oils throughout the day while maintaining hydration.

Matte Finish

Cons :

  • None

Overall, I really like the packaging of this Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder. The balm applies smoothly like a face cream with a soft and velvety feel. It has a light scent which fades off quickly, so you may not notice it at all. Absorbs easily, smoothens the skin and dries up to a nice matte finish. It makes my foundation application a lot better. A little goes a long way and it does a fantastic job of keeping my makeup fresh all day.

As mentioned earlier, this was a sample but the price for the full size is $36, a fair one considering all the benefits. I will be buying the full size as soon as possible cos it’s that good! So, I got the shade Universal – Colorless/Translucent but there are ten (10) more shades to choose from.

Have you used/heard about the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder? How do you like it? Would you try it?
