The Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation was recently repackaged and reformulated and a lot beauty bloggers and youtubers have been raving about it. So, I decided to give it a try and share my review. I have been using it consistently since it got to me about a month ago and now it’s time to share my thoughts. According to Maybelline, the Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation delivers 24-hour wear for concentrated coverage and a flawless finish that doesn’t fade or shift all day. Let’s get right into my review, shall we?
Packaging : It comes in a nice and simple rectangular bottle with a pump dispenser.
Formula : It has a thick liquid formula which goes on smoothly and dries off matte. The ingredients include ; Cyclopentasiloxane, Aqua / Water, Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Isododecane, Dimethicone, C30-45 Alkyldimethylsilyl Polypropylsilsesquioxane, Peg-10 Dimethicone, Glycerin, Silica, Dimethicone/Polyglycerin-3 Crosspolymer, Sodium Chloride, Nylon-12, Phenoxyethanol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Cyclomethicone, Chlorphenesin, Ethylparaben, Disodium Edta, Acrylonitrile/Methyl Methacrylate/Vinylidene Chloride Copolymer, Aluminum Hydroxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Isobutane, Paraffin, Sodium Citrate, Tocopherol, Isopropyl Alcohol, [+/- May Contain Ci 77891 / Titanium Dioxide, Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 / Iron Oxides ] G854042.
How I Use : I’ve been using my beauty blender to apply and it looks really nice and flawless. Check out the video below to see a mini demo.

- Blends easily.
- Lightweight.
- Doesn’t clog pores.
Cons :
- Oxidises.
- Limited shade range.
Overall, I really like the coverage 0f the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation. As it claims, it gives a full coverage. It blends seamlessly and dries off matte which makes it fantastic for combination/oily skin. Unlike the Fit Me Matte Foundation, it has a thicker formula. It doesn’t have a 24h staying power as advertised but it sure lasts for up to 8hrs or more depending on how it’s applied. The shade range can also be expanded as it’s quite limited for us, dark skinned girls 🙁 . One key thing to note is that this foundation oxidises a lot, so you may have to go with a shade lighter that your natural shade. I got it in the shade 355 Coconut and will move up a shade when this finishes.
