Hi darlings,
Welcome to March…yay! It’s going to be an awesome month…do you believe that too? Hahahaa…declare and it shall be! Today, I’m sharing my highlighting technique with you as highly requested 😀 . I posted a picture on Instagram few days back asking what my lovely readers would like me to write about or do a pictorial on and I got more comments asking for highlight and contour. Hence, this post on how I do makeup highlight for women of color. So you know, I believe in doing highlights more than contour because we are mostly dark skinned. Therefore, we don’t really need to hide so much (except when it’s really necessary) because we are blessed with awesome facial features. Instead, we need to highlight our features more. Oh well, that’s just the way I feel and that’s why I’m showing you how to highlight for women of color in this post.

- I covered her entire face with Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Cappuccino.
- Then using a concealer brush, I applied L.A Girl Pro Conceal in Toast to her under eyes, nose, cupid’s bow, a little on the fore head and jaw.
- With my Original Beauty Blender, I blended the concealer into the skin till there were no harsh lines.
- Then, I set the concealer with Ben Nye powder in Topaz.
Hugs and Kisses,
Missglam.
