Happy New February! I wish you all the very best this month as it unfolds. So, I have a product review for you today…whoop! Feels like I haven’t done a review in a while. Anyhoo, it’s all about the L.A Girl Beauty Brick Nudes Palette. I got this eyeshadow palette form MakeupMavenNG at the last Christmas A’Fair in December. The colors attracted me and I thought to give it a shot as it’s a much less expensive alternative to Naked 3 palette which I do not own but I’ve read about and seen comparisons.
According to the L.A Girl , the Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection is described as: ” Four gorgeous must-have eyeshadow palettes filled with a dozen majorly pigmented shades ranging from super wearable looks like Nudes to bolder looks like Neons. L.A. Girl’s Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection gives you the best of all colors to allow you to create stunning looks!
The variety of colors and textures in the Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection include shimmer and matte shades making these captivating palettes very versatile to go from an everyday look to a night out.
Each unique look is featured in its own luxurious glossy book with a double-ended brush and mirror inside.

I have used this palette and here’s my review;
Packaging : As described before, it comes in a luxurious glossy book with a double ended brush and mirror inside
Formula : The L.A Girl Beauty Brick Nudes Palette features 12 gorgeous rosy-toned neutrals in a palette – contains Only 3mattes (white , pinky taupe, and light brown). and 9 Shimmer eye shadows.
Pros:
- The L.A Girl Beauty Brick Nudes eye shadows are super soft and pigmented.
- It has a variety of shades and textures.
- The shimmers feel buttery and are easy to pick up.
- The palette is not heavy. Hence, it’s quite easy to carry around.
- The price is very pocket friendly.
Cons:
- Some of the colors like no 1 (i numbered them 1-12 from left to right since they don’t have labels) didn’t pay off well.
Overall, I am so excited over the L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Nudes and I can’t wait to try the other two as I got the NEON palette on the same day! I got mine at a discounted rate for 1800naira at the fair but I know the regular retail price is between 2500-3000naira. It’s a total steal and the pigmentation and buttery feel of these shadows rivals the higher-end palettes. Obviously you’re not getting the same quality shadows in the L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Nudes as you would in Urban Decay Naked 3, but if you’re on a serious beauty budget or just can’t fathom paying over 10,000naira for an eyeshadow palette, this one is a really nice alternative. Such a pretty palette, I just wish there were more matte shades! I own the Naked 3 palette and use it daily in the warmer months so I’m on the lookout for a replacement when it runs out. I love hearing about cheaper dupes! Thanks for sharing ????
