Hi darlings,
Hope your week has been good to you just as mine. I know I’m super late about this post but it’s better late than never, right? Remember the post about my top 5 primers for oily skin? The BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector was one of them and since I haven’t actually reviewed it, I thought to do so now. I’ve been using it for a little over a year and just kept putting off this review for no reason at all but today na today…loool. According to BECCA, it is a targeted mattifying primer that controls oil for up to 12 hours. Now, let’s find out what I think.

Packaging : It comes in a dark brown tube with silver screw cap.

Formula : The BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector has a gel-like feel to touch and dries off completely matte. It contains Water, Magnessium Aluminium Silicate, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Oleanolic Acid. It’s free of Alcohol, Fragrance,Silicon and Oil.

How I Use : I squeeze a pea-sized amount (as seen above) on my fingertips and warm between my fingers till it’s clear. Then, I apply to my face focusing on my T-zone area.

Pros : The
- The BECCA Ever- Matte Poreless Priming Perfector targets oil-prone areas.
- Can be used before or after foundation and also throughout the day to touch up areas of concern.
- Acts a liquid blotting paper which leaves the skin feeling fresh and matte for up to 12 hours.
- Perfect for all skin types especially oily skin.
- It is silicon, alcohol, oil and fragrance free.

Con :
- Price is a little on the high side.
Overall, I like the BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector a LOT! I was skeptical about buying it at first because of the hype. Truth be told, some products don’t live up to half of the hype but when my No 7 makeup base finished and I found out it’s been discontinued (still wonder why boots made that decision though), I decided to give it a try. I was impressed by the way it made my skin feel so nice yet matte at the same time, all day. It’s a little pricey if you’re on a budget but whenever you have the extra cash to splurge, it’s definitely worth a go cos it WORKS! You can find the BECCA primer for about 20,000naira (price may vary from store to store) at any beauty store around. Do you use the BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector? How do you like it?
If you have a pressing beauty question, holler at your girl! I am always happy to help. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or right here in the comments.
Hugs and Kisses,

Hi ma, Ive been contemplating on which primer to buy-Becca and Smashbox photofinish primer are quite expensive. As such, I’ve been looking for a more affordable but equally effective primer for professional makeup jobs. Please which ones would you recommend (I’ve read your best five primers for oily skin but the primers were not comprehensively reviewed). Thanks ma. Great job
Hi Tomiwa. Thanks a lot for reading and leaving a comment. So, the list of my top 5 primers is a guide and it features primers that are fantastic for oily skin. Now, all you have to do is check their prices and see which fits within your budget. I hope this helps! X
