Hegai & Esther recently launched new eye products – The Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil (Brow Pow) in Nubia and Stay On Eyeliner in Onyx. I bought them immediately they launched and that was about a month ago but I just got the chance to actually use them and share my review. According to Hegai & Esther, the Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil is a lightweight waterproof brow pencil with a highly pigmented point that glides smoothly on the skin, immediately transforming you brow from sparse tO POW! The Stay-On Eyeliner is a transfer-proof and water resistant pencil specially formulated to achieve a bold and vibrant line with ease. Its tender gel formula makes application effortless, but also dries to a matte finish making it long-lasting and smudge proof. Just like I did with my last review, I have a very quick and short demo below :
Packaging : The Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil comes in a black paper case and is dual ended with pencil on one end and a spoolie on the other. It also comes with two caps – a brown one and a transparent one. The Stay On Eyeliner also comes in a black paper case and it’s a black pencil with a black cap.

Formula :The brow pow has a smooth formula while the eyeliner has a gel formula.

How I Use : I sharpen the pencils before using to trace out my brows and line my eyes, respectively. Please refer to my demo above for more details.

Overall, I’m excited that Hegai &Esther has expanded their eye products line. You guys already know how I feel about this brand. Yes, I like these new products. However, the pencil has a creamy/shiny finish to it (if you use or have used Davis pencils, you would understand this better). It didn’t have the matte effect that I prefer when using eyebrow pencils. The eyeliner pencil is quite pigmented but it was a little hard to sharpen and apply at first probably because it was new. The colour pay off after a bit of re-application here and there was great. It didn’t smudge while I wore it and that’s very good for people like me that would rather not touch up their makeup all day 😀 . The pencils are quite affordable. The brow pow is 1,000naira while the stay on liner is 1,500naira. I got mine from the Hegai & Esther office in Ikeja. Have you guys used the Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil and Stay On Eyeliner? Please share your thoughts in the comments box below!
