Beauty Tips : My Top 5 Skin Toners

Hi darlings,

Welcome back to my blog. Today, I’ll be sharing my top 5 skin toners with you. Some are fantastic for oily skin, some for combination and others great for normal skin. Did you read my article on toning last week? If not, you can find it here. Alright, what’s a toner, you ask?

A Toner is essentially a product which tones and smoothens out the skin. A toner’s function is to complete the cleansing of your skin—removing the dust, pollution, and impurities that can still be lingering after washing with a cleanser (as cleansers usually contain ingredients such as oil, which can leave a film on your face) while closing up the open pores on the skin. A toner also helps in maintaining the pH balance of the skin. Toners impart a healthy glow while making the skin smooth and supple.

  • Hello, I am currently using the Neutrogena alcohols free toner as I I have sensitive skin- this was based on your best five toners. I have used it for over two weeks but suddenly it is giving me a stingling (light burning sensation)feeling.

What do you think is the the problem

    • Hello Doris, the Neutrogena toner gives the skin a slight tingling feeling. However, if it becomes uncomfortable, please consider using a toner without any alcohol like the Thayers toner. I hope this helps! Xx
